Third-annual Shawano/Menominee Finance and Investment Challenge Bowl.

            When: at the Financial Wellness Conference; March 27, 2010

            What:  college bowl quiz competition for high school students, testing their knowledge of economics, investing, personal finance, college readiness, and credit concepts.

What: Fifth-annual Shawano/Menominee Financial Wellness Conference -- The Money Conference™. 

                There is no selling or high pressure sales tactics of any sort at the Conference.  It is a purely educational event.

Who is Putting on the Conference: Asset Builders is a Wisconsin nonprofit organization and conducts the Conference in cooperation with many partners from the area and around the state.

When: Saturday March 27, 2010 from 8:30am – 2:00 pm

            (Registration & Breakfast begins at 7:30)

Where:  Menominee Indian High School (Keshena)

What:

·        Over 15 one-hour classroom sessions featuring instruction on topics such as credit reports and scores, homeownership, how to buy food economically and prepare nutritious meals, budget basics, and much more.

·        Age-appropriate programming for students

·        Child care for kids between the ages of 2 and 6 (call ahead to make reservations)

·        Door prizes throughout the day

·        Healthy breakfast and lunch donated by the Menominee Tribal Clinic included with the modest admission charge.

Cost: Advance registration is FREE if received before March 19.  After that date, registration is $1.00 for students under the age of 18 and $2.00 for adults.
